Job Description:
1. Own a part of the experience, and independently plan and execute research studies required at different points in the lifecycle.

2. Work closely with Product Managers to identify research areas and define the product requirements with deep user insights from primary research.

3. Work closely with Designers to conduct iterative research that informs the design process as well as evaluates the designs. You will bring in a good mix of qualitative and quantitative input into design decision-making.

4. Collaborate with both product and design teams to identify the right ‘success parameters’ for design. Independently evaluate the design against the success metrics, using the findings to guide future redesigns and product overhauls.

5. Identify the research approach, methods and techniques that best fit the research needs and constraints. Proactively come up with your own methods and techniques and be bold in testing them out with rigor.

6. Document and share your research findings in consumable, creative formats, visual and written. Be willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make research insights ‘tangible’ and ‘actionable’.

7. Champion the user at every step with a strong research and data-backed evangelisation, while being mindful of the business goals.

Candidate Profile:
 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably

research for digital design in a fast-moving environment.

Required Skills: 
1. Experience in a range of research techniques - ethnography , contextual enquiry, guerrilla research, A/B testing, usability studies - and a sound grasp of what to apply when. 

2. Being able to read basic data and make sense of it is a must. Experience in planning and conducting quantitative research and knowledge of statistics is a big plus.

3. Extremely good communication and facilitation skills.

4. Experience working in cross-functional teams, with the ability to integrate research with design and product.
